Who we are

NoteQuiz is a desktop study app. This website (notequiz.com) is operated by NoteQuiz. Questions about this policy: support@notequiz.com. The browser product is closed. We do not host your notes, quizzes, or model keys.

What we collect

• Download email. Used to send a one-time installer link. No password and no account.
• Product notes (optional). If you tick the box on the download form, we add the address to a Resend audience and may send occasional product notes. This is marketing mail, separate from the installer email. Write support@notequiz.com to be removed.
• Support messages. Name, email, and the text you send, delivered to support@notequiz.com.
• Rate-limit keys. For a short window we store an email or IP in Redis (for example dl_email: and dl_ip:) so the download and contact forms cannot be hammered.
• Hosting logs. Ordinary web logs (IP, user agent, URL) from Vercel. Download-claim URLs can include a one-time token. Mail-provider errors are logged without the full recipient payload.

What stays on your machine

Workspace files, profiles, and any pasted license key live on your computer. Generation and grading go to the endpoint you configure. We do not receive those requests. This site does not set analytics cookies.

• Vercel — hosts this site and retains access logs
• Resend — sends download and support mail; optional audience
• Upstash Redis — short-lived download tokens and rate limits

Retention

Download tokens expire in 24 hours or when you click Download, whichever comes first. Rate-limit keys expire in 15 minutes (download) or one hour (contact). Transactional emails remain in the mail provider according to its retention. Audience contacts stay until you ask us to remove them. Vercel log retention follows the hosting plan.
